Very nice painting by Leopold Leclercq (1911-1977) made in 02-07-1973. Leopold Leclercq studied at Academy of Gent, evolved from expressionism to geometric abstract art. He was a teacher at high institute of textiles and plastics at Gent. This work is very colorful and simple as most of his works are. But very nice. This artist is known in the Piron, Arto and Benezit. Would look very decorative in a mid century modern design interior. Some of his works are in the collection of the Gent museum, not a lot of pieces are known. Height:104,5 cm Width:64,5 cm Depth:3 cm
