Super elegant floor lamp designed by Floris Fiedeldij for Artimeta Soest I 1956. Artimeta was a Dutch company with strong relations to French and Italian designers. Most of the items were in inspired by the French 50s craze, as you can see strong French influences to this lamp as well. This lamp is called Tivoli and is a very strong and important design for the Dutch Modernism. The lamp has a black metal base which has a super shape, a white bar and a nice grey shade. The lamp is in good original vintage condition. Would look great in any modern design interior. Height:140 cm Width:145 cm Depth:26 cm
