This dining table was designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for B&B Italia in the 1970s. The rectangular top has rounded corners and is made of red travertine with visible pores. There is natural variation in hue and structure. The edges of the travertine are softly rounded. The cylindrical base is covered with leather panels in a geometric pattern. The internal construction consists of four concrete counterweights. The table top has been professionally restored and is in very good condition. The original polyester lacquer has been removed and the stone has been re-polished and ground to enhance its natural character. Minor signs of wear are only visible in a few places along the edges, while the stone has remained completely intact without chips or cracks. The leather shows stains that match the age and use.
