Kleiner Vogel - Antonio Vitali Antonio Vitali (1909–2008) was a Swiss toy designer who made a name for himself with his handmade and carefully shaped wooden toys. Vitali's designs are characterized by a radical simplification and abstraction of forms, which were often inspired by anthroposophy. In addition to his own workshop in Zurich, he worked for a long time as a toy designer for the US toy company Creative Playthings. Our little bird was created in the 1940s/50s and was made of solid walnut. Manufacturer's designation on the underside. Perfect condition. Height 4cm. Location Steinwiesstrasse.
