The Biglia ashtray was designed by Joe Colombo in 1963. It was manufactured by Arnolfo di Cambio, a glass blower from Tuscany, Italy. Its rounded shape is inspired by the spherical shape of a ball, or "biglia" in Italian. The ashtray consists of a cut crystal glass ball that rests freely on the metal base and that the user can turn in the desired direction. This is a true vintage piece, with the original label still present. The ashtray is in very good condition and shows only normal signs of use.
