Nice modernist floor lamp designed by Gaetano Sciolari and manufactured by Stilnovo, Italy 1954. This floor lamp has a weighted base, black painted. The shade has a white center part with a black diffuser shade around it. This lamp gives very nice and diffused light when lit and is marked with the Stilnovo sticker on the inside of the shade. The lamp is in good condition with minor wear from age and usage. Stilnovo was one of the better Italian light manufacturers together with Arteluce and Arredoluce. We built a nice Stilnovo collection in the last years where some of the items are now shown on our website. All pieces are original Stilnovo productions, most are marked and or documented in books. All our lights are checked, cleaned and are suitable for use in the USA. For US usage you would only have to change the plug or get a holiday converter.
