The term "eye-catcher" seems to be an understatement. This fantastic 1970's rug is just beaming of positive energy. The design was inspired by the op-art movement. The geometric pattern is playing tricks on your perception. It's made of thick, natural wool that has been professionally cleaned. The yellow has some small discoloured spots that remain as can be seen in the pictures. After more than 40 years, the wool shows hardly a sign of wear. This is a very rare piece and certainly one of the most beautiful op-art rugs I have ever seen.
