A 'Shogun Terra' floor lamp designed by the Swiss architect Mario Botta in 1986 for Artemide. With the two perforated shades you can control the light distribution and prevent glare. The metal stem is painted white with black stripes. The black base is made of cast steel. In pre-modern Japan, the shogun was the highest military leader. The design refers to the traditional attire of a shogun. This lamp is in virtually pristine, original vintage condition.
