The Biglia ashtray was designed in 1963 by Joe Colombo. It was produced by Arnolfo di Cambio, a glassblower from Tuscany, Italy. The round shape is inspired by the spherical shape of a marble, or 'biglia' in Italian. The ashtray consists of a cut crystal ball that rests loosely on the metal base and can be rotated by the user to point in the desired direction. This is a real vintage item, with the original label still on it. The ashtray is in very good condition and shows only normal signs of use.
