A pine wall unit with a black lacquered steel structure. Designed for a house in Antwerp by the Belgian interior designer Jul de Roover in the 1950s. The furniture consists of 1 double-wide deep cabinet and 2 drawers underneath, combined with 3 shelves over the entire length and 1 smaller shelf. The deeper cabinets have white lacquered sliding doors and the drawers have matching white wooden handles. There is also a storage compartment at the bottom, creating a larger space under the small shelf that can be used to place larger objects. The system is generally in good condition. There are signs of wear on the wood surface in the form of notches, scratches and some discoloration from sunlight. There is some white paint on the metal supports where the unit was previously attached to a wall.
