Ultra rare coffee table designed by Friso Kramer and manufactured by Ahrend de Cirkel, Holland 1955. This rare small coffee table was a part of the Reform table program that was designed by Friso Kramer in 1955. The Reform series contained a lot of variety of tables in different sizes and editions to the clients needs. One thing was the same, the structure of the base, applied in several different sized and shaped tables. This base was a folded metal frame which was light but also very strong. The tops varied from hardcore, linoleum, Formica and wood. Whatever the client wanted. This is for an extremely rare small and low coffee table from the Reform series. The table has a black painted metal frame and white Formica top with aluminum edge. In many years of collection the furniture of Friso Kramer I only saw this table 3 times. Where normal Reform dining tables cross the market much more often. Probably because the demand from clients at that time was low for coffee tables that size. And this table was relatively expensive compared to bigger tables. This table is quite unique because of that and has been in my private collection for many years. The table is in excellent original condition.
