This table lamp consists of multiple layers of chrome and rests on a marble base. These multiple layers create depth in the lamp and emphasize the geometry. The table lamp comes from the space age of the 1960s. During this period, design became experimental and daring. Driven by technological progress, Italian designers began to use geometric and symmetrical shapes. This lamp reminds us of other designs from that time, such as those by Gaetano Sciolari. The geometric aspect and the combination of different materials are reflected in both. The lamp is in good condition and has acquired a beautiful patina over the years.
