Super rare set of 8 Revolt folding chairs designed by Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel, Holland 1953. Though the Revolt chair was already designed in 1953, the production started in 1958. The chair has a folded black painted metal base which was very strong and a rare dark green ciranol seat and back. This model is rare because the folding chair was only used in several buildings in Holland and Belgium. The set is in excellent original condition, with only minimal wear due to age and usage. This is for a very hard to find, collectible chair set with many hidden technical details. This is for sure my favorite design by Friso Kramer. Easy to store and stack as well.
