B-40 sideboard in rosewood veneer with steel structure, designed by Dieter Waeckerlin in 1958 and produced by Behr, Germany. A refined minimalist piece, comprising five drawers with white Formica inlay, a mobile drinks trolley in maple also with Formica inlay, and two open shelves. The rosewood has been meticulously restored with two coats of shellac to enrich its natural depth and warmth, then coated with a hard wax oil finish for durable, air-permeable protection. The steel structure has a soft, age-appropriate patina, highlighting the authentic character of the sideboard.
