Very rare short version of the K46 lamp designed by Kho Liang Ie for Artiforte in 1957. This very hard to find lamp has a very nice Japanese minimalistic look, 3 square black lacquered solid metal bars holding a rice paper shade in the middle for very nice warm diffused light. This lamp has a fluorescent lamp for warm light when lit. This lamp was made in a very low production process, all lamps are hand built. This lamp has square massive feet and it’s still in very good original vintage condition with very nice patina from age. The original shade is still in very good and clean condition. The colour of the light can be changed changing the fluorescent bulb on the inside. The lamp usually is in a long version, this is an original short version which is half the length of a big one but it’s VERY hard and the grandson of Kho Liang Ie who owns the archives had never seen this small version before.
