Large desk by Eeka, Netherlands, late 1960s. This particular desk comes from the consulting room of a former general practitioner, the first owner. That is why the desk has such a large top with an overhang so clients could sit on the other side of the desk. It has two sets of 3 drawers and a small drawer for writing materials. The desk is in a very good condition with signs of age and use. It has undergone some overall restoration but shows character with the signs of age. The desk also shows similarities to the Japanese series desk by Pastoe. It is made from teak veneered plywood and a metal frame.
