B-40 rosewood veneered sideboard with steel frame, designed by Dieter Waeckerlin in 1958 and produced by Behr, Germany. A refined minimalist piece of furniture with five drawers with white formica inlays, a mobile maple drinks trolley also with formica inlays, and two open shelves. The rosewood has been carefully restored with two coats of shellac to enrich the natural depth and warmth, finished with a hard wax oil top coat for long-lasting, breathable protection. The steel frame shows a soft, age-appropriate patina that emphasizes the authentic character of the sideboard.
