High backed Bird Chair and Footstool designed by Harry Bertoia, U.S.A., Knoll International, 1990s. Original Bird Chair set (423 & 424) with black painted metal frame sculpted from bent metal rods. The full covers in dark purple wool upholstery are stretched over and attached with hooks. The Knoll logo is stamped into the base of the chair and the ottoman. SUPER COMFORTABLE!
