This is a Poul Kjærholm PK61 coffee table, designed for Ejvind Kold Christensen, Denmark, in 1956. The table has a black slate top with a beautiful grain and a matte steel frame. This example is an original E. Kold Christensen version, marked with the EKC Denmark logo on the frame. The table is in very good condition and shows slight wear and small surface scratches on the table top that are consistent with age and use. The frame has developed a natural patina over time.
