Very nice set of 2 (the red one is sold) colorful ceramics designed by Ettore Sottsass Jr. for Bitossi Italy 1950. These ceramics objects were commissioned by the prominent Dutch department store ‘De Bijenkorf’ in 1958. The very nice and typical thick lava glaze is very noticeable. These ceramics were all produced in very small limited productions and are very hard to find, you will hardly see these ceramics outside Holland. The 2 items left are marked.
