Jan Kaláb (born June 20, 1978, in Prague), also known as Splesh, Point, and Cakes, is a Czech artist specializing in graffiti, street art, and mural art. He began with graffiti in 1993 at the age of 15, creating his first piece. In 1994, he painted his first panel. Since then, he has created hundreds of graffiti works for himself and for well-known companies. His name has traveled almost all over Europe. In 2000, he traveled with Romeo and Cey to the United States, visiting New York, the cradle of graffiti, where he created several panels on the New York subway and a one-man colorful wholecar, a highlight of his illegal work. In 2001, he pushed the boundaries of graffiti and, according to him, became one of the first artists to create plastic 3D graffiti in the world. In 2006, he completed his university studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.
