Adam Štech (born 1980) is a Czech artist who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He has had solo exhibitions in Brussels and Bratislava and participated in numerous group exhibitions. Štech draws inspiration from Czech modernism, particularly Cubism, reinterpreting traditional themes for a contemporary audience. His preferred technique, mosaic, is uncommon in contemporary art, and the grid of regular colored fields complements the formal deformations in his paintings.
