Sunny winter day in a snowy forest. Walter Otto Moras (1856-1925) was a German painter whose development was significantly influenced by the well-known marine and landscape painter Hermann Eschke. Moras exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in Berlin from 1876 and continuously participated in major Berlin art exhibitions until 1910. He also exhibited at various art associations in Bremen, Oldenburg, and Königsberg, and at the annual exhibition in Munich in 1890. Oil on canvas, signed lower left.
