Bohemian or Saxon Baroque

Rare Baroque covered goblet from Bohemia or Saxony, 18th century. It features a slightly domed disc-shaped foot with a downward-folded rim and a baluster body adorned with a red spiral thread fused into the glass. The lid's finial is fluted and twisted, also in red and gold. The goblet is decorated with classic matte enamel featuring bird motifs and geometric ornamental bands. In good condition, without damage, consistent with its age. H 31.5 cm.
