Rare baroque covered goblet, probably from Nuremberg, 18th century, made of colorless blown glass. It features a wide, slightly domed foot, turned down, and a baluster stem with nodi. The cup, pre-formed during blowing, is decorated with a matte engraved cartouche bearing the inscription: "I always live according to justice." On the reverse, there is a balance scale, with floral motifs and a peripheral ornamental band between them. The lid is adorned with leaping dogs and a wild boar, with a pinched finial containing an engraved air bubble. The bottom of the cup shows a fine crack, otherwise in good condition, without damage. H 34 cm.
