This “Pirkka” dining set is a beautiful example of Finnish modern design. This design by Ilmari Tapiovaara triumphantly won several golden medals during the 1950s at the Milan Triennale and is produced by Laukaan Puu. This dining set consists of a table and 4 chairs. The tabletop, seats, and backrests are made of solid Finnish pine, while the legs are made of black lacquered beech. The design is known for its compact size, making it ideal for smaller living spaces. In overall very good condition, with minimal user marks, only some small lacquered damage on the legs of the chairs.
