The Fjord armchair by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso is one of the well-known designs of the early 21st century from the Italian furniture manufacturer. The model was designed in 2002, and the two pieces offered here were manufactured in 2005. Both are upholstered in white leather in the 'Pelle bianco puro' finish with decorative stitching that follows the contour of the shell. The seat shell is made of cold-formed polyurethane foam and supports the organic shape of the armchair. The base and shaft, made of powder-coated steel, are square, creating a formal contrast to the soft shell shape. Fully rotatable and equipped with a high backrest, the Moroso swivel armchair is suitable for extended sitting. With dimensions of 100 × 70 × 103 cm, it is designed to be spacious. In the living room or a representative reception area, the white Fjord armchair sets a clear focal point. As a pair, both chairs can be arranged as a conversation setup or as a symmetrical counterpart to a lounge table. Manufacturer labels 'MOROSO' are present on the underside. Minor scratches on the base are documented, but the overall condition is very good.
